Social Communication | |

A GrandCare system begins with a touchscreen PC along with senors in the resident's home. This allows the resident to socially interact with family and friends, keep up with current events, enjoy mind-stimulating games and receive daily reminders and cognitive prompts throughout the day. |
Online Management | |
The online Care Portal allows
caregivings to manage the resident's system. This process
enables remote users to check on sensors, view graphs, utilize
care notes and add social communications such as pictures,
videos and emails to the resident's touchscreen. A caregiving can also designate conditions as to when and how they would like to be notified about unusual activity. In that event, a follow up visit can be made by family or through a professional caregiver such as a member of Mackenzie & Thomas' network of affiliated homecare providers. |

All GrandCare sysems are maintained through proprietary software and controlled servers. There are no programs or virus protection to purchase, update or bother with. Because it is secured, only authorized indviduals can Skype or otherwise communicate with the resident. |
TeleHealth Monitoring | |
TeleHealth monitoring devices such as pulse oximeters, glucometers or blood pressure monitors can be added at any time to wireless record readings and store them on the GrandCare system. Family caregivers or health care providers can remotely log in over the Internet to view data. Health notification alerts can also be established. |
